TryHackMe is a browser-based cyber security training platform, with learning content covering all skill levels from the complete beginner to the seasoned hacker.
Our co-founders, Ben Spring and Ashu Savani launched TryHackMe after realising the inaccessibility of the industry. Learning cyber security previously entailed a black-box approach with a lack of guides and challenges, leaving the industry incredibly tricky for people to break into and difficult for those already in-market to upskill continuously. This is where we come in!
The need for qualified cyber security professionals has never been greater. Cyber attacks are increasing, and so is the cyber security skills gap. Unfortunately, expensive courses and certifications makes it harder for individuals to get into the industry.
We created GoHackersCloud to make learning cyber security more affordable and more accessible, removing as many barriers to entry as possible. Hundreds of our training labs are completely free, there is no cost to sign up, and you can access GoHackersCloud purely through your browser almost anywhere in the world. We also support charities and initiatives such as TechVets and CyberGirls – helping underrepresented groups bridge into cyber.
Before GoHackersCloud, learning cyber security took a theoretical approach that couldn’t be put into practice in real-world scenarios. It left learners with many gaps to manually fill, and it wasn’t engaging.
We give users their own personal virtual machine – deployable by a click of a button. This allows learners to actively hack and defend machines in practice, following the steps they will take in real-world scenarios and job roles. We bring forward immersive training, transitional to the needs of the market and more easily retained in learning by doing.
